Subsidy and net metering
PM Surya Ghar and PSPCL's net-metering rules apply across Punjab, so the process in Mohali is the same as anywhere in the state: apply on the portal, install DCR panels from the ALMM list, have the net meter fitted and inspected, and the subsidy is credited to your bank account.
The usual reasons applications get rejected
- Panels that aren't DCR, or aren't on the ALMM list
- A system sized above the sanctioned load
- Aadhaar not linked to the bank account used for the subsidy
