UTL Solar vs Tata Power Solar
These are two different ways to buy rooftop solar. Tata Power Solar sells a finished system through its own channel partners. UTL makes the equipment, and a local distributor such as RSK Solar Energy designs and installs it.

On panel warranties UTL is level or ahead. Tata Power’s Solaroof page lists a 25-year module warranty, while UTL’s 545 W TOPCon panel lists a 30-year performance warranty. Tata’s strengths are scale and a single responsible company, with a 5-year warranty on grid-connected systems and a network it puts at 575 channel partners and 225 service partners. With UTL, the warranties are UTL’s own, product by product.
