UTL vs Vikram Solar panels
Two Indian makers of N-type TOPCon panels, within a tenth of a percentage point on efficiency. Vikram's Hypersol lists 23.42% and UTL's 630 Wp module 23.32%, and both carry 30 years on performance.

These are close panels. Vikram lists the slightly higher efficiency, both list 30 years on performance, and the choice for most Punjab rooftops comes down to price, availability and whether you need DCR panels for the subsidy.

A tenth of a point changes very little in practice. We plan on about 100 square feet of shade-free roof per kW, and a gap this small does not move that figure for a home system. Roof space, shading and price decide more.
Choose Vikram Solar if
- You want the highest published efficiency of the two, and the longer product warranty, 12 years against UTL’s 10.
Choose UTL if
- You want the panels to come with the inverter and battery from one brand, as a complete system.
