Waaree vs Adani Solar panels
Two of India's largest panel makers, almost level on paper. Waaree's 700 Wp TOPCon lists 22.32% efficiency and Adani's Shine TOPCon 22.3%, and both carry 30 years on power. For a home claiming the subsidy, DCR decides it.

Choose Waaree if
- You want the product warranty in writing on the exact model, which Waaree states at 12 years here.
- You do not need the subsidy, or you are quoted a different Waaree model that is DCR.
Choose Adani if
- You want the PM Surya Ghar subsidy and the convenience of a DCR version of the same series.
What neither headline tells you
DCR panels use Indian-made cells, and only DCR panels qualify for the PM Surya Ghar subsidy. They cost noticeably more than non-DCR panels, so a cheap quote on a non-DCR model can cost you the subsidy. Read DCR and non-DCR panels before comparing prices.

Which is better for the PM Surya Ghar subsidy, Waaree or Adani?
The subsidy needs DCR panels. Adani offers its Shine TOPCon in DCR and non-DCR versions. The Waaree 700 Wp model compared here is non-DCR, so for the subsidy you would need a different Waaree model. Ask for the DCR certificate whichever you buy.
